Our Programs
The Cavett Kids Foundation provides two ongoing programs at OU Medical Center:
Diversionary Play: A program that places volunteers in the waiting areas of the OU Children's Physicians Clinics to provide interactive arts and crafts activities for the patients while they wait to see the doctors. The entertaining activities help reduce stress and anxiety in the patients. Click on the following link for more information about Diversionary Play.
Dialysis Rewards: A program that will take place in the pediatric dialysis unit at The Children's Hospital. The ultimate goal of the program is to encourage healthy behaviors and teach responsibility to the patients through positive reinforcements. The program allows patients to earn “Kidney Kash” by being compliant with their treatment plan on a regular basis. Click on the following link for more information about Dialysis Rewards.
